The film "Dreaming of Julia", later titled "Cuban Blood", starring Harvey Keitel, Gael Garcia Bernal, Iben Hjejle, Diana Bracho, Gabino Diego, Cecilia Suarez, Aline Kuppenheim and others.
The movie was filmed entirely in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, because of Jacqueline's
excellent negotiations experience, and procured the best budget deals to enable all locations and
production requirements.
The movie was released on January 27, 2006 in Mexico. The film recreated a Cuban town in
the fifties.
With 27+ years in film and TV production experience, she has produced
television programs, theatrical plays and musicals, documentaries, and shorts films. She is also
a part-time professor, training future students in different areas of cinema, at
the Academic Foundation of New Cinema (Fundación Académica del Nuevo Cine) where she is the
Director; The School of Design Film Training Program directed at Altos de Chavón, and
teaching at The School of Cinema at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD, Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo), training
individuals who are working in the nascent film industry and those who want to be part of it.
Jacqueline has brought and continues to bring active and successful professionals to conduct
workshops in continuing education programs offered through the Academic Foundation of New Cinema and Film
Program at Altos de Chavón.
